Artworks on canvas

Painting is a journey to the unknown.

While creating an artwork I let my intuition guide me. When I start working, I mostly don't know what will appear on the canvas. If an artwork doesn't surprise me anymore there is something missing.

When I work I'm always searching for the lyric, or even bright facets of life. And thereby, I'm hoping to leave some kind of optimism. Colours are good for this purpose.
